Davis Elkins Charitable Foundation $100,000 Grant
ST. LOUIS - The Davis Elkins Charitable Foundation has granted a $100,000 gift to Most Holy Trinity Catholic School and Academy (MHT) to be used towards scholarships for students beginning in 6th grade.
Most Holy Trinity Catholic School and Academy is honored to receive this significant investment in our students. The scholarships will support students in their 6th-8th grade years while attending MHT and throughout their four years in a Catholic high school. Students must meet specific criteria to maintain their scholarships, such as demonstrating improvement and growth in core subjects and performing community service. The scholarships will be administered by the Today and Tomorrow Educational Foundation.
“This is a wonderful opportunity for MHT and will allow for us to support and invest in more students in K-5 with additional support for our middle school students. This is truly an investment in Hyde Park and the entire school community,” says Antonia Ponder, Senior Advancement Director.
“Most Holy Trinity understands the path out of poverty is through accessible and affordable education. This gift will allow our middle school students to challenge themselves academically and to have greater opportunity in their high school choice,” says Margaret Karl, the Director of City Catholic Schools.
